Wedding Day

Stu and I were married on September 1, 2007. More photo's

It is easily one of the most special days of both our lives and we don't think it can be topped, for now, until we have our first child..... Buying a house, buying a dog... all these were special. But nothing compared to the day we became man and wife, one forever!

The one thing that isn't different is our relationship.

The amount of people who have said to us how awesome a relationship is after being married... no offence, but nothing with Stu and I changed.. just my name!!! I just think that Stu and I were and are as close as we are going to get in this point of our lives and I treasure that!

For some marriage is final and binding, for us - it was just the next chapter of our lives together.

I take you to be my significant other!
my constant friend, my faithful partner in life,
and my one true love.

On this special day, I give to you in the presence of God and all those in attendance my pledge to stay by your side as your partner, in sickness and in health, in joy and in sorrow, as well as through the good times and the bad.

I promise to love you without reservation, comfort you in times of distress, encourage you to achieve all of your goals, laugh with you and cry with you, grow with you in mind and spirit, always be open and honest with you, and cherish you.

All that I am I give to you and all that I have I share with you. Whatever the future holds, I will love you and stand by you.

For as long as we both shall live, this is my solemn vow.

Our Bundy Bear

He's our sweet little boy.. Love him very much! Gives us both a lot of joy and special memories.. Gives us reason to come home every day!!

A little about us....

Stuart James was born on 21st June 1978, Jessica Joy was born - also on the 21st June, but in 1985.

Stu's always been a northsider.. Living in Carseldine for most of his life. He attended St Dympna's for Primary School and Nudgee for High School. His part time job through High School and Uni was the Pick'n'Pay at Aspley. After attending QUT for a number of years he graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science. He's been working for Caloundra City Council since..

Jessica has lived everywhere.... Ipswich, Bribie Island, Camira, Coorparoo, Morayfield and now Caboolture. She attended many different schools for Primary - North Ipswich, Banksia Beach, North Ipswich - again, and Camira. High School until year 10 was served at Westside Christian College at Goodna. Her part time job through High School was at Amies Jewellers. She 'dropped out' at the end of 2000 and secured a traineeship in 2001 and has been working ever since... BSL, Chris Wlodarczyk & Co, Conveyancing Works, Qld Police Station at Indooroopilly, Stellar Call Centres, Telstra & now NIB Health Funds.. stay tuned cause that's sure to change soon enough! She intends to take use of the study benefits NIB have and get myself a Business Degree or something similar. Maybe....

So if you think the two of us are alike.. you are soooo wrong!!

Stu has one sister.. Jess has 3 brothers and one sister.

We met over the internet - of all places. It took much poaching from Jess for Stu to come out so that we could meet each other. He eventually did. It was in the lead up to Pen's wedding and all the feminine hormones were affecting him so he came to South Bank to meet me - and the rest is history. We hit it off - had fish and chips on the water and have been mostly inseperable since (bar that terrible 4 months that he decided to go away for!!) It also took alot of pressing from Jess for the two of them to move in together.. it eventually happened - and we simply couldn't live without one another now.

He proposed on the 26th April 2006 while we were on holiday at Nambucca Heads. The sweety added a special little question to the outer of our painted rock!!

We married on 1st September 2007 in a beautiful ceremony.

We've brought a house - and have a dog.... to all we know we are the perfect couple... pfft!!!!
